Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan (TBTK)is not only for Boholanos living abroad but fairly for those living within the country and those had been all through, in the province. In a casual conversation on-air over DYRD AM “Sangonan Program” with Ms. Liklik Gallares-Schroeder of Sacramento, CA who is the over-all coordinator of TBTK 2009 and the anchorwoman of “Sangonan” Tita BJ, Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan (TBTK) was said to be now in full swing. Ms. Schroeder a Tagbilaranon for many years and to the present resides in Sacramento, CA is in the city to coordinate with the local organizers making the grand reunion a success. The triennial 2009 Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan (TBTK) is slated July 14 to 26, according to Ms. Liklik Gallares Schroeder. She positively says basing from text messages she received from different individuals, Boholanos all over the world now look forward to the reunion season: meeting with family and relatives, schoolmates and friends in their native island, Bohol.
Registration Forms to the triennial 2009 Tigum Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan (TBTK), Schroeder said are already sent to varied Boholano groups in the Philippines and abroad. Moreover, she called on all members of the different schools alumni to join the big affair. Ms. Schroeder requested intent participation of all Holy Name University Alumni members since she, herself, is an alumnus of the said school. She added that she is too excited to meet schoolmates, classmates and friends from where she formerly attended her school years. Overwhelmed to have remembered the now University of Bohol, which as far as she can recall, called the school Rafael Palma College (the University’s former name) members of the alumni to also be interested to attend and be present in all the activities.
Ms. Liklik Gallares Schroeder during “Sangonan Program” cited availability of a registration package that includes: Lifetime Membership (preparatory to becoming a Voting Member), Event Registration and Program Kit, Admission to TBTK Gala, Admission to Mrs. Bohol International, Admission to Miss Bohol International, Admission to TOBAW Awards, Admission to Recognition Night, sponsored events and for the incoming Boholanos, is a Malacanang Palace visit and other receptions.
Those who do not choose the entire package may register for the event in general and buy special tickets to a particular or may be several activities.
To highlight the events that everybody from all walks can attend or participate are: religious activities, Sandugo Street Dancing, cockfighting derby, youth activities, tours and pilgrimages, school reunions, medical mission, TBTK meeting, TBTK election of officers (for voting members only), cultural shows and exhibits, and many others.
