TAGBILARAN CITY, July 28 (PIA)–The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will host this month’s ‘Bisita Opisina’ and general assembly meeting of the Association of United Development Information Officers in Bohol (AUDIO-Bohol) on Thursday, July 30 at TESDA-Jagna Training Center in Jagna, Bohol.
AUDIO-Bohol is an aggrupation of information officers of the municipalities and national government agencies based in the province.
The ‘Bisita Opisina’ is one of the activities of AUDIO-Bohol where the members visit government agencies and municipalities to conduct discussions and learn about government programs for the group to assist them with their communication needs.
At 9 a.m., AUDIO-Bohol President, Augustus ‘Totsie’ Escobia will give his words of welcome and statement of purpose at TESDA-Jagna Training Center.
After this, the information officers will undergo a Training on Basic Broadcasting Program Structure to be conducted by PIA-Bohol Manager, Rey Anthony Chiu.
At 10 to 11 a.m., the information officers will get a chance to apply what they learn from the training as the group will transfer to the nearby radio station, dyPJ for a taping of Kapihan sa PIA with TESDA to be hosted by PIA-Bohol Manager and dyPJ Station Manager, Mr. Catalino Berro.
TESDA-Bohol officials lead by their Provincial Manager, Dr. Francisca Opog will discuss during the Kapihan, TESDA’s programs and services.
After the Kapihan, the group will return back at TESDA-Jagna Training Center for the continuing discussion on the ongoing programs and services of TESDA.
TESDA-Bohol is set to have their 2nd round of implementation of their yearly conduct of free competency assessment under the National TVET Competency Assessment and Certification Programs (NATCAC) scheduled on August 1-31, 2015.
This year’s free competency assessment will be conducted in three schedules on the months of May, August and November 2015.
In the afternoon, AUDIO-Bohol members will have an office tour and orientation of the Citizen’s Charter of the host office to be given by TESDA Info Officer, Mr. Jaminel Damolo.
An information sharing with the officers of the municipalities and national agencies will then follow. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)
