The public wants the 4 Boholano officials, involved with the controversial fertilizer fund, to give enlightenment as to why they chose only a few towns to benefit from the fund and not all towns of the Province.
Aumentado commented that the fund was directly run to the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Regional and Provincial Office, and that they did not personally received any cash from the project.
Bayan Muna Bohol Chairman John Ruiz III is suspicious as to why the government increased the budget, from the usual yearly budget, in the heat of the 2004 elections. Ruiz adds that the supposedly towns that are the beneficiary for the said fund, do not even remember that there were fertilizers given from February to July 2004.
