President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Vice President Noli de Castro (Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) chairman) graced the groundbreaking of a new socialized housing project. The housing project, located within the New Bilibid Prison Reservation Property in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, will benefit less than 3,000 state employees.
HUDCC chairman and Vice President de Castro said the houses and lots will be offered to government employees after four months that the priority agencies’ employees were not able to buy the units through their Pagibig Fund contributions. (PIA)
