Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Jesli A. Lapus has welcomed President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s order to revoke the tax on imported goods.
In a statement released to media, Lapus disclosed to the media: “We trust that this decision will help promote the culture of lifelong learning among Filipinos and contribute to our country’s effort to create a knowledge society for all.” (PIA/DepEd)
