Hilary Clinton’s forthcoming visit reaffirms good US-RP relations

US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham’s visit reaffirms that the Philippines and the United States have strong diplomatic relationship.

The two-day visit, November 12–13, is an opportune time for the Secretary of State to meet with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to discuss with her important issues.

The November 12-13 visit is Secretary Clinton’s second trip to the Philippines but her first as secretary of state. This will be Clinton’s second visit to Southeast Asia and third to Asia since being appointed Obama’s secretary of state. (PIA)
