MANILA, June 29 (PIA)–Nagpagawas ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) og sumbanan sa pag-isyu og visa waiver sa mga langyaw human wala na kini dawata sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).
Matud pa ni Atty. Elaine Tan, tigpamaba sa BI, tuyo niining sumbanan nga mapadali ang pag-isyu og visa waiver request nga ginaandam sa ahensya.
Una nang gipahibalo ni Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Wilfredo C. Santos nga dili na modawat pa ang visa section sa DFA og visa waiver requests ug ihatag na lamang kini sa BI.
Ubos sa Operations Order No. SBM-2015-016, o “Processing of Requests for Recall Exclusion of and/or Visa Waiver for Excluded Aliens”, ang tanang mga langyaw nga gustong musolod sa nasud apan gipugngan, kinahanglang moduso sa mga gikinahanglang dokumento sa Central Receiving Unit sa BI sulod sa 12-oras human madawat ang Exclusion Order.
“Visa waivers may be issued to foreign nationals who have been excluded for failure to present an entry visa to the Philippines, based on the following considerations: Visa-required minors or infants accompanied by or returning to a Filipino parent; Visa-recruited foreign nationals related by blood or affinity to a Philippine citizen; Visa-required foreign nationals married to a Philippine citizen and qualified dependents below 18 years of age; at other meritorious cases as may be considered”.
Human makumpleto ang mga gipangayong dokumento, dinhi lamang mahimong mobayad ang mga langyaw nga mokabat sa P5,000. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)
