Bohol arts harvest caps National Arts Month at Punta Cruz

Reaping the golden harvest of the art in Bohol would be strewn for all to see at the foot of the historic Punta Cruz in Maribojoc February 27, 7:00 PM.

This as the Ani ng Sining, the National Arts Month theme, is carried by the Bohol Provincial Government through the Center for Culture and Arts Development (CCAD) with the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage Council.

Set in the historic watchtower of Punta Cruz, the culminating activity comes in a Dinner-For-A-Cause. The dinner for a cause aims to pool resources for the ecological-cultural development of Punta Cruz, in collaboration with Maribojoc local government, Punta Cruz Environment Organization, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and Bohol Alliance of Non-Government Organizations (BANGON).

The program is envisioned to help uplift livelihood in the area through eco-cultural initiatives. The project also aims to establish the Castillo de San Vicente Punta Cruz Watchtower as a national historical landmark establishing the significance of historic monuments in the province.
