The National Real Estate Association, Inc. (NREA) – Cebu Chapter in cooperation with Central Cebu Board of Realtors, Inc. (CCBR) will conduct its Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for Real Estate Brokers and Real Estate Salesmen on July 23 and 24, 2011. This is in compliance with Section 20 of Republic Act No. 9646 also referred to as the RESA. This was announced by A. Jun Gultiano, Jr., REALTOR® (IRM), President of NREA-Cebu Chapter.
This CPE is in coordination with the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRBRES).
The activity will be the final CPE seminar before the deadline on July 30, 2011 as embodied under R.A. 9646 for the registration of former DTI licensed real estate service practitioners with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The said activity will be held at the Sacred Heart Center, D. Jakosalem St., Cebu City. All Brokers and Salesmen are urged to take this opportunity to attend said seminar to comply with the PRC requirement. Real Estate Brokers who fails to register with the PRC after the deadline will need to take another broker’s examination.

Sea and its environs and other maritime areas adjacent to the East Asian mainland” sa ubang miyembro sa United States House of Representatives.
Sa taho sa Philippine Embassy sa Washington D.C., si Representative Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Chair sa United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs, ang nisang-at sa House Resolution ug co-sponsors niini silang Representative Don Manzullo, Chairman sa House Subcommitttee on Asia and the Pacific, ug Representative Eni Faleomavaega, Ranking Member sa House Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific.
Adunay 27 ka magbabalaod nga nag-co-sponsor sa resolusyon nga gilangkoban sa 18 ka Republicans ug 9 ka Democrats. Suportado sa House Resolution ang posisyon sa Pilipinas sa malinawon, multilateral ug rule-based settlement sa kasungi-an sa Spratly Islands base sa international law ug gikondena ang paggamit og puwersa aron maresolba ang problema.
Sa maong resolusyon, pipila ka probisyon ang nahimong gibasihan, apil na ang giingon niadtong Hunyo 23, 2011 ni Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton sa nibisitang si Foreign Secretary Del Rosario nga determinado kini ug committed aron suportahan ang pagdepensa sa Pilipinas.

Matud pa ni Comelec Commissioner Armando Velasco, angay nga matuldukan na ang mga alegasyong pagpanikas sa mga milabay nga piniliay. Gitumbok usab ni Velasco nga angay nga adunay ikapakita nga mga dokumento silang Bedol ug Ampatuan aron mapamatud-an nga dunay nahitabong pagpanikas.
Samtang mag-isyu ang Comelec og alias warrant of arrest batok ni Bedol alang gihapon sa kasong contempt nga gipasaka batok niya sa komisyon. More than half of the world’s population depends on rice as their staple food. In Bohol, about 25% or 47,378 hectares of its agricultural lands are planted to rice. About 55% of these depends on rain as its source of irrigation water.
Lack of irrigation puts stress on growing rice, and other factors such as drought, salinity, submergence, and nutrient deficiencies also limit rice production. Such areas comprise 51% or around 24,284 hectares of riceland in the province. Hence, the greatest potential for increasing rice yield lies on these types of land.
Using recently developed rice varieties, the Bohol Agricultural Promotion Center (BAPC) participated in a multi-environment testing of stress tolerant rice from 2008 to 2010. This has resulted in several varietal recommendations for the Boholano farmers, particularly those tilling marginal rice fields:
- For zinc deficient soils (both low & high pH soils), elite line IR55179-3B-11-3 had stable yield of 5.7 (low pH soil) to 6.2 t/ha (high pH, calcareous soils); 4 elite lines also yielded high in high pH, calcareous soils
- For rainfed, drought-prone areas in Bohol NSIC Rc 222, NSIC Rc 192 and PSB Rc 68 are recommended
- For saline-prone areas in Bohol PSB Rc 88 is recommended
- For submergence-prone areas Raeline 10, PSB Rc 18-Sub1, elite line PR37416-18-1 are the recommended varieties
- And for zinc deficiency + iron toxicity soil complex (low pH soils), IR77674-8-2-2-8-2-4 is recommended.
