The City Commission on Election (COMELEC) is wondering why they were so many who registered since January 5. This was the observation of Assistant City Comelec Registrar Beatrice Inting. According to Inting, the ones who mostly registered were from the towns of Maribojoc, Cortes, and Antequera who were owners of tricycle operations. It seems that this was one of the requirements for the renewing of business permits. Inting promulgated that from January to December of this year, 30 persons will be entertained in the morning and 50 in the afternoon.
In every coming election, there is an increase of 10% of registered voters.
