In the near future, an Onsite Congressional Viewing will be held here in Bohol on the results of the oil exploration in the Bohol Strait.
While the 2nd District Representative Hon. Roberto Cajes endorsed the proposal of the increasing consultations on the House of Committee of Environment and Natural Resources, which is included in the Committee Viewing of the Congress on September 10, 2008. He said that his motion was approved regardless of doubts from many Congressmen especially from those of the Environment Committee.
The motion of Cajes, who is also one of the authors of House Resolution No. 212, which deals with the investigation of the impact of oil exploration here. The resolution is also supported by 1st District Representative Hon. Edgar Chatto.
