In the latest awareness and performance survey of government agencies conducted by Pulse Asia between October 22 to 30, 2009, the Department of Social Welfare and Development obtained high ratings again.
The survey showed a 100 percent national awareness rating for the DSWD in terms of its mandates and of what it does for the people. Likewise, the DSWD garnered an approval rating of sixty-five (65) percent and only a nine (9) percent disapproval rating.
Since the last quarter of 2006, the DSWD has consistently been rated as the top performing agency of the national government. It also has the distinction of being the top-rated government agency in integrity development and anti-corruption by the Presidential Anti-Graft Commission since 2007. (DSWD/SMS)
