The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) activates its Command Center to monitor prices and supply of basic necessities in the wake of Typhoon Ondoy’s devastation. DTI also urges the public to report any violations.
It has appealed to the public to report violations of the price ceiling law to the Command Center at telephone +63 751-3190/ 3191 / 3192 / 3194 / 3195 or at email address dti.ondoy@yahoo.com.
The Command Center is located at the Conference Room, 3F DTI Main Bldg., 361 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City. Action officers man the Center from 6am-9pm to receive calls from retailers who may have concerns either on price adjustments or on delayed deliveries. (DTI/PIA)
