On June 9-11 this year, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is holding a service caravan in Cebu which will gather under one roof the department’s services, bureaus and attached offices to develop the local micro, small, and medium enterprises.
The service caravan, dubbed as “DTI Negosyo, Konsyumer, At Iba Pa,” will bring the services of DTI and involve other bureaus and central offices together with the regional and provincial offices of DTI.
Also opening on the same day is a trade fair featuring products of DTI beneficiaries and DTI info on services. There will also be breakout sessions within the first day such as National Logistics Roadmap, Investment Briefing and Sustainable Business Models. Maker trainings will also be conducted on day one.
On the second day, June 10, activities will include Food Safety Seminar, Seminar on Expanding your Business through E-commerce, Consumer Forum and Standard Blitz, Catapulting Business for the Global Market and Capability Building for Women Entrepreneurs and Skills Enhancement of Negosyo Center Counselors on the Effective Utilization of Trade Marks.
On the third day, there will be a seminar on Branding a Business and innovation talks entitled, Slingshot Cebu, which aim to equip, inspire and invigorate key players of the Philippine startup and innovation ecosystem
Around 1,000 exporters, existing and potential entrepreneurs, industry associations, government financial institutions, non-government agencies, LGUs and members of the academe will take part in the event,
DTI said that it is expecting exporters, MSMEs, consumer groups, local government units (LGUs), City and Municipal Economic and Investment Promotion Offices and Negosyo Centers’ counselors to participate in the event.
