Many school buildings were damaged by the 7.2 earthquake that hit Bohol on October 15, 2013. Aftershocks continued throughout the day and is still going on as of this writing. No classes or work for the next few days in Bohol.
It was fortunate that October 15 was a holiday otherwise injuries and fatalities may have been significantly higher, especially in the schools with damage on the buildings.
