The vehicles for the government officials are not to be use for private trips, as said by Land Transportation Office (LTO). LTO have now started a province-wide campaign the misuse of these vehicles as they have now become a target. One division of the LTO, is in-charge for vehicles caught in such misuse.
The LTO Tagbilaran district supervising officer Joel Maloloy-on said that he received comments from people that a few vehicles were seen used for private trips in offices, malls and schools. And some were even seen with no plate numbers. Maloloy-on urge the people to inform th LTO of those who are misusing government vehicles.
