More tropical storms are expected to enter the country. This was the information disclosed by PAGASA.
According to a PAGASA officer, “Around eight more weather disturbances are seen to hit the country from October to December this year.”
On average, around 20 tropical cyclones occur in the Philippines each year.
Since January to September this year, 15 tropical cyclones have already crossed the country. PAGASA records also show that there is 1-2 destructive weather disturbances that hit the country each year. (PIA)
