The National Achievement Test (NAT) reports showed a percentage increase of 21.36 percent from 2006 to 2009, indicating a steady improvement in primary education in the country’s public school system.

The 2009 NAT showed a mark improvement in Mean Percentage Score (MPS) of only 66.33 percent from 54.66 percent in 2006 or an improvement of 11.67%.

Lapus will award pupils, schools, divisions, and regions which showed top performance in the examination given by the department in 2009.
