Pacman loses belt to Bradley

In a stunning split decision, judges scored the fight between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley in favor of the undefeated challenger Bradley. Judges C.J. Ross and Duane Ford gave Bradley 115-113 while judge Jerry Roth scored the fight 115-113 for Pacquiao. According to LA Times, “CompuBox showed Pacquiao connected on 253 punches to Bradley’s 159, with a 63-51 advantage in jabs and 190-108 in power punches.”

Unofficial scores from various commentators and news sources gave Pacquiao the edge winning from 8-4 to 11-1 rounds. When the winner was announced, the crowd booed and were heard on live TV. Bradley, admitted being hurt by Pacquiao a couple of times while Pacquiao said he wasn’t hurt at all and was able to deflect most of Bradley’s punches.

Fight promoter Bob Arum said it was “Unbelievable”.
