TAGBILARAN CITY, November 3 (PIA)–Ang diyosesis sa Tagbilaran magsaulog sa ilang Diocesan Diamond Jubilee sa Nobyembre 6 taman 8, 2016. Sa unang adlaw sa kasaulogan, ang mga tumatambong mohatag og pahinungod kang outgoing Diocese of Tagbilaran bishop, Msgr. Leonardo Medroso nga magsaulog usab sa iyang ika-78 ka adlaw’ng natawhan sa susamang adlaw. Usa ka Santos nga Misa ang mosunod sa St. Joseph’s Cathedral nga pangunahan ni Medroso sa alas 6:00 sa buntag. Sa mao gihapong adlaw, gatosan ka mga kabos ang benepisyaryo sa ipahigayong medical mission nga gitawag og “Breaking Bread Through Service” nga magsugod sa alas 8:00 sa buntag sa Plaza Rizal, atbang lamang sa St. Joseph Cathedral. Authorities firm up grassroots information net against terror

TAGBILARAN CITY, May 11, (PIA)–Proven to be very reliable, information from the grassroots about the where-about of the remaining two wounded members of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) has kept government troops on their toes. Earthquake worries Boholanos

No damages were felt reported in the earthquake that happened at noon on January 8, 2009. In an investigation done by DYRD Balita, they’ve found out that the earthquake was felt in Anda with a magnitude of 4.5; 3 at Camiguin; 2 at Jagna, Garcia Hernandez and Guindulman; and 1 at Cagayan de Oro and Cebu. Judges should keep distance from local officials – de la Serna

The Regional Trial Court judges should keep their distance from local officials. This was the statement said by Atty. Victor de la Serna. He adds that the Supreme Court must continue with the policy that the judges will be assigned in other towns and not in their hometowns. Comelec floods with new registered voters

The City Commission on Election (COMELEC) is wondering why they were so many who registered since January 5. This was the observation of Assistant City Comelec Registrar Beatrice Inting. According to Inting, the ones who mostly registered were from the towns of Maribojoc, Cortes, and Antequera who were owners of tricycle operations. Petition for the TRO on the City Square contract deal raffled to RTC Judge Arcamo

The petition for the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) for the in-question City Square contract was raffled. However the results weren’t good after the case was raffled to Regional Trial Court (RTC) Judge Susimo Arcamo. Atty. Victor de la Serna noticed that Judge Arcamo is familiar with the City Mayor. In fact the public is already aware that Arcamo is frequently seen in the City Mayor’s office. Insiders also says that Arcamo even eat lunch at the City Mayor’s office too.
