Base sa Proclamation Number 50 nga gilagdaan ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte, regular holiday ang New Year’s Day o Enero 1 nga natunong sa adlaw nga Domingo; Araw ng Kagitingan – Abril 9, natunong usab sa adlaw nga Domingo; Huwebes ug Biyernes Santo – Abril 13 ug Abril 14; Labor Day sa Mayo 1 nga natunong sa adlaw nga Lunes. Nalakip usab sa regular holiday sa sunod tuig ang Hunyo 12 o Independence Day (Lunes); Agosto 28, National Heroes Day (Lunes); Nobyembre 30-Bonifacio Day (Huwebes); Disyembre 25 o Christmas Day (Lunes); ug Disyembre 30-Rizal Day (Sabado). Samtang ang mga special holiday sa 2017 mao ang: Chinese New Year sa Enero 28 (Sabado); EDSA People Power Revolution Anniversary sa Pebrero 25 (Sabado); Black Saturday-Abril 15; Ninoy Aquino Day-Agosto 21 (Lunes); All Saints Day-Nobyembre 1 (Miyerkules) mao nga gi-deklarar na usab sa Malakanyang ang Oktubre 31 (Martes) isip dugang special holiday samtang ang Disyembre 31, katapusang adlaw sa tuig (Domingo). MANILA, August 19 (PIA)–Nilambo pa ang ekonomiya sa Pilipinas og 7 porsiyento sa ikaduhang kwarter sa tuig 2016. Kini na ang pinakapaspas nga paglambo nga natala sulod sa kapin duha ka tuig matud pa sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Matud pa ni National Economic and Development Authority(NEDA) Director General Ernesto Pernia, ang 7% growth rate sa gross domestic product (GDP) sa nasod alang sa ikaduhang kwarter maayong pagsugod alang sa administrasyon ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte. Giingong nahisulod usab kini sa target nga 6 ngadto sa 7 percent growth rate sa gobyerno karong tuig. Matud pa ni Pernia, daku ang natampo sa lig-on nga ekonomiya nga gibilin sa niaging administrasyon. Apan taliwala niini, giangkon ni Pernia nga magsilbing hagit pa gihapon sa administrasyon ang taas nga poverty rate. Police adopt parameters for antidrug enforcement teams
TAGBILARAN CITY, March 9 (PIA)—They are back, and while there are stricter parameters for police participation in the government’s anti drug campaign, they come in with a new tenacity. Now reinforced with the 64 newly graduated members of the Police and the military’s Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT), the Philippine National Police again rejoins the fray with a resolve: erase the vile left by rogue cops using the drug raids to mask their corruption. PNP Central Visayas Chief PCSuperintendent Noli Taliño told media that when the police rejoin the anti-drug campaign, those involved would he a team of disciplined and police with a good track service record. This as the police resume their tasks in the anti illegal drugs campaign with the return of Oplan Double Barrel Alpha Reloaded. “Unlike then, not all the police in the force can now join the drive,” General Taliño bared during the recent turn-over of the P4.87 million modern police station in Cortes. Even Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mike Sueño admitted that when the government started the anti drugs drive, they just accepted those who volunteered, without going for a background investigation. “That is where we allowed the bad elements to contaminate the program, Sueño candidly admitted during a forum with barangay chairmen in Bohol last month. Determined not to fall into that same trap, the PNP organization firms up the national Drug Enforcement Unit, PCSupt Taliño, upon which his office also draws guidance from the DILG during operations.
