Boholano photography enthusiasts joined the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk-Tagbilaran which started from Chillpill Cafe in CPG East Avenue and concluded at the K of C Recreation Center on October 1, 2016. The group of around 35 professional and budding photographers participated in the international Photowalk celebration of Scott Kelby which has been running at its 9 years.
The activity was organized by local walk leaders with a theme to capture street life and foster camaraderie among photographer’s community. It was sponsored by the Bohol Bloggers Collective, FORGE Inc. and Bright Learning Center ( Kumon K of C – Tagbilaran). The youngest walker is 4 year old Joshua Auza who uses his tablet to capture images. He received a special recognition and a Php100 gift coupon from Chillpill Cafe.

The local leader of Tagbilaran City photowalk incorporated the Opening of Childrens Month highlighting the advocacy of Anti Child Pornography and Anti Human Trafficking were in asking the photowalkers to invite friends and family to take part in the annual celebration.
“This years walk is about highlighting the power of photography and photographers to convey a message that a family that stood together against Child Pornography and Human Trafficking is a family that strengthens the morals of the society. Thats why we invite all photographers with DSLR or phone camera to join us,” Jumjum Ouano of FORGE, Inc. – Local walk leader.
The activity ended with a small gathering and awarding for minor prizes. A local exhibit and at the same time awarding of the photowalk prizes for local selection is up for at the last week of the month. At the same time the photo-walkers output can be viewed publicly.
The participants concluded the event at the K of C recreation center with a short message from Jerome Auza, a participant and an amateur photographer.
