TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, July 17 (PIA)–Gi-awhag ni Presidente Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III ang tanang ahensya sa gobyerno sa pagsuporta sa nasudnong kasaulogan sa “National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDRP) Week” gikan Hulyo 17 hangtud Hulyo 23 ning tuig.
Ang pangulo nipagawas sa direktiba pinaagi sa Memorandum Circular No. 50 nga gilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr. niadtong Hulyo 9 nga nag-awhag sa tanang kawani sa gobyerno, mass media ug sa publiko sa pag-apil sa tinuig nga selebrasyon ug pagpakita og suporta sa tanang persons with disabilities (PWDs) sa nasud.
Duha ka direktiba na usab ang gipagawas sa miaging katuigan nga nagduso sa kooperasyon ug suporta sa publiko ngadto sa mga PWDs.
Ang Proclamation No. 1870 (s.1979) nga nagdeklarar sa ikatulong semana sa Hulyo isip NDPR Week “to highlight the nation’s efforts towards disability prevention and rehabilitation leading to the effective integration of persons with disabilities into the mainstream of society”.
Ang Proclamation No. 361 (s. 2000) usab nga nagdeklarar sa tinuig nga pagsaulog sa NDPR Week nga motak-op sa adlaw’ng natawhan sa sublime paralytic nga si Apolinario Mabini matag Hulyo 23 kada tuig.
Ang selebrasyon sa ika-35 nga NDPR Week nagdala sa tema nga: “Building an Inclusive and Non-Handicapping Environment for Persons with Disabilities.”
Ang Presidente mi-awhag sa tanang government agencies and instrumentalities, apil na ang mga Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations, State Universities and Colleges ug Local Government Units, sa pagsuporta ug pag-apil sa nasudnong kasaulogan sa National Disability Prevention Week.
