THE Diocese of Tagbilaran through the Social Action Center (S-A-C) renew the calls for kindhearted Boholanos to help alleviate the hardships of flood victims by donating goods.
Fr. Salise echoed the calls issued by Bishop Leonardo Medroso, who also appealed to the parishes to start their own relief goods collection for the singular purpose.
S-A-C executive director Rev Fr. Warli Salise said the diocese would still continue accepting donations of goods and cash until the afternoon of October 8.
Speaking in a radio interview, Fr. Salise said, until then, the diocesan volunteers would pack the goods and items in container vans for shipment to Manila and nearby provinces, which were fully inundated during the floods spawned by storm Ondoy. (PIA)
