The investigation into the sinking of Super Ferry 9 will start today and be conducted by the Special Board of Marine Inquiry. This was the information disclosed by Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Lorelei Fajardo.
The investigation is in compliance with President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s directive to the Department of Transportation and Communication to conduct a thorough investigation as to prevent a recurrence of the sea mishap and avoid the loss of lives.
