Dili kinahanglang duganga’g tropa sa armi sa Lanao

Gibutyag ni Maj. Gen. Nehemias Pajarito nga dili na kinahangalang dugangan pa ang tropa sa armi nga nadistino sa Lanao.

Mao kini ang tubag sa heneral sa hangyo ni Congressman Abdullah Dimaporo sa 2nd Distrito sa Lanao nga dugangan ang tropa sa militar sa ilang dapit.

Matud pa ni Pajarito, igo na ang duha ka dibisyon sa Philippine Army nga mao ang First Infantry Division (IID), PA, nabase sa Siyudad Pagadian ug ang 4ID nga nabase Siyudad sa Cagayan de oro, para masiguo ang kalinaw ug seguradad sa maong dapit.

Mihangyo si Cong. Dimaporo og dugang tropa aron mapadali ang pagsikop sa mga rebeldeng MILF (MLP) nga mihimo ug kadaut dili lamang sa kabtangan, kon dili apil ang pagkalas sa kinabuhi didto sa lalawigan Lanao.

Army doubts MILF sincerity to peace process

The Military doubts the sincerity of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in adhering to the peace process, Maj. Medel Aguilar, Commanding Officer of the 5th Civil Relations Group (5CRG) said.

According to Aguilar, the MILF has not made any effort to capture Commanders Bravo and Kato, who are members of their group.

He explained that the army is under the assumption that the MILF has prior knowledge of the planned attacks of Bravo and Kato and suspect that the group may be cuddling them.

“As long as they’re protecting these people, their sincerity to the peace process is in doubt” Aguilar added. (PIA/Bohol)
