Loboc Choir wins Aliw award 2009
The Loboc Children’s Choir (LCC) has once again bagged an award in the recently held 21st Aliw Awards at the Manila Hotel November 11. They won the award “Best Performance In A Concert By a Group”, their second award. Their first in 2004, where they bagged the “Best Choral Group Award”.
This year, the award is in recognition of the group’s outstanding performance during the Encuentro Filipino series of concerts, which opened at the PETA Theater Center. The Manila concert was to launch the two-month United States and Canada concert tour, choir director Lutgardo Labad said in a statement.
