Col. Nicanor Dolojan, 403rd Infantry Brigade Commander, bellied reports that the US American troops here in Mindanao are involved in the law enforcement operations against the lawless MILF group (LMG).
According to Dolojan, the American forces have never participated in any military operations against Bravo and Kato and their followers.
The military operation against LMG is an internal affair and the government will not allow US American participation or involvement of its military operations against lawless elements of the society.
The Brigade Commander explained that the US American forces are in Mindanao to provide humanitarian and medical support to victims of the LMG atrocities and to those internally displaced persons (IDPs). (PIA/Bohol)

Operating troops of the 10th Infantry Battalion, encountered 15 armed lawless MILF group (LMG) during the conduct of security patrol at Sitio Lihan, Brgy. Delabayan, Munai, Lanao del Norte .
According to Col. Nicanor E. Dolojan, Commander of the 403rd Infantry Brigade, the troops chanced upon the roving LMG trying to extort foods from the populace.
The firefight lasted for 30 minutes with the enemy withdrawing under the cover of darkness. No casualties were reported from the government side while an undetermined number of casualties from the LMG were noted.
“These activities of the LMG only show that they are running out of food and since they cannot come down from where they are hiding, they go around the populace and extort food,” Dolojan added. (PIA/Bohol)
