Maj. Gen. Bautista, gitudlo nga bag-ong Army chief
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Nov. 08 (PIA)–Pormal nang gi-anunsyo karon sa Malacañang ang pagtudlo sa bag-ong Army chief nga si Major Gen. Emmanuel Bautista isip hulip ni Lt. Gen. Arturo Ortiz.
Matud pa ni Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Abigail Valte, manumpa na si Bautista ugma sa turnover ceremony sa Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
Si Bautista ang kasamtangang commander sa 3rd Infantry Division sa Philippine Army nga nakabase sa Capiz.
Giingong angay sa maong posisyon si Bautista tungod sa iyang background sa field ug staff operations.
“He shepherded the development of the plan from its conceptualization, development, writing, launching and implementation. He was able to mobilize the participation of different stakeholders in the planning process. The plan involves innovative approaches and paradigm shifts and is now the blueprint of the AFP in winning the peace,” matud pa ni Valte.
Giingong kumpiyansa ang Pangulo nga ipadayon sa heneral ang mga repormang nasugdan ni Ortiz.
Si Bautista miyembro sa Philippine Military Academy Class of 1981 ug nakatapos usab sa Joint & Combined Warfighting Course sa Joint Forces Staff College, Virginia, USA; Grade II Staff and Tactics Course sa New Zealand ug aduna usab siya’y Masters Degree in Business
