2 suspected carjackers nabbed in Paranaque road mishap

Manila, Philippines – Police have nabbed two of seven suspected car thieves who surfaced in an accident along the West Service Road of the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) in Paranaque City this morning.

Senior Superintendent Alfredo Alvarez, Paranaque chief of police, identified the suspects as Felimon Gorillo and Jeffrey Martinez. Both yielded shotguns when apprehended by the police.

The group’s vehicle turned-turtle when it hit a post in the area. Police officials said there were three other passengers in the vehicle who escaped including a woman. Autorities are still investigating the suspects link to another car-napping group encountered by the police a week ago.

Authorities recovered several shotguns in the vehicle.
