President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is concerned over the alleged scam committed in the long-devolved municipal level in the distribution of subsidies to farmers under the Ginintuang Masaganang Ani (GMA) program of her administration.
According to Press Secretary Jesus G. Dureza, the President is very concerned about all this because she has been releasing a lot of funds as part of economic agenda.
The funds came from the VAT excesses, although she went into a process of being unpopular but had to do it to make a good fiscal situation, Dureza pointed out.
The Press Secretary said it should be easy to pinpoint the culprits “when the full force of the law is applied,” especially that the distribution has been devolved to the local government units concerned. (PIA/Bohol)

Gipasidunggan ni Presidente Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo ang mga kawani sa kagamhanan tungod sa ilang gihimo isip tulay sa kagamhanan ug sa katawhan.
Ang maong pasidungog, nahiha-um sa pagsaulog sa ika 108 anibersaryo sa Serbisyo Sibil o Civil Service Commission (CSC); sa ilang tema: “Republic Service – Kabalikat ng Bayan sa Panahon ng Paghamon.”
Gipatin-aw sa Presidente nga ang mga kawani sa kagamhanan, nahimong importanteng tulay nga misumpay, aron mapaduol ang katawan sa kagamhanan.
Tungod niini, angayan nga hatagan sila og dakong pasidungog sa ilang sakripisyo aron pag-asenso sa mga katawhan sa nasud, dugang sa presidente.
Apil niini ang ilang kontribusyon aron mapalambo ug mapalig-on ang ekonomiya sa nasud, lakip na usab ang ilang sakripisyo aron makab-ot ang kahapsay ug kalinaw sa nasud.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo paid tribute to government workers as the vital link between the government and the people.
The President issued the commendation as the country celebrates this month the 108th anniversary of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) with the theme, “Republic Service – Kabalikat ng Bayan sa Panahon ng Paghamon.”
The President pointed out that “, government professionals serve as the important link that connects our government and our people.”
It is high time that the country celebrates the accomplishments of Filipino civil servants who have played an essential role in the nation’s wellbeing, she said.
The Chief Executive also cited the role played by the government personnel in the country’s strong and growing economy, saying “we have labored together to create, to ensure peace, order and stability in our country.”

Sagopon na sa kagamhanan ang tulo ka mga paagi: pag-dis-arma, pagbungkag sa katakus nga mga rebelde sa paglihok ug sa pagpahiuli nila sa mga komunidad.
Kini subay sa mandu sa Presidente human sa mga napalpak nga panagsabot sa kalinaw sa Mindanao.
Subay sa bag-ong palisiya, ang hisgutay sa kalinaw adto na itutok sa mga komunidad ug mga satakeholders aron dungang umolon uban sa kagamhanan ang bag-ong mapa nga agi-an sa proseso sa kalinaw, matud ni Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita.
Kini samtang usab giparepaso sa presidente kang Peace Adviser Hermogenes Esperon ang mga nahaunang palisiya sa proseso sa kalinaw sa Mindanao.
