As eastern towns were plagued with flash floods, due to the tropical depression “Ondoy”, 3 persons were dead in separate drowning incidents.
P01 Christopher Aceron (Jagna) confirmed that a certain Aldrin Honasa , 35 year old resident of barangay Canjulao, Jagna, drowned. Police report said that Honasa, who was drunk, teased to his family that he can swim in the flash floods along the Canjulao river. Other reports say that while drunk he waded the river towards his house right across but did not make it through.
In Duero, Joseph Rances, 22 years old, single and a resident of Poblacion,also drowned. Rances was reportedly drunk when he fell into the river. His house is located beside the river.
Whil Candijay Mayor Sergio Amora, Jr. said he heard reports about a lifeless body found somewhere in Canawa.The lifeless body remained unidentified as of this writing and cause of the death remained clueless.
