The Loboc Children’s Choir (LCC) has once again bagged an award in the recently held 21st Aliw Awards at the Manila Hotel November 11. They won the award “Best Performance In A Concert By a Group”, their second award. Their first in 2004, where they bagged the “Best Choral Group Award”.
This year, the award is in recognition of the group’s outstanding performance during the Encuentro Filipino series of concerts, which opened at the PETA Theater Center. The Manila concert was to launch the two-month United States and Canada concert tour, choir director Lutgardo Labad said in a statement.

There are no further comments from Gov. Erico Aumentado, and Congress Representives Edgar Chatto, Roberto Cajes and former Third District congressman Eladio Jala in regards to the “fertilizer fund controversy”.
The aforementioned officials were included in the list that were supposedly given a part of the fertilizer fund. Aumentado receiving P5 M and P3 M for each representative.
On Nov. 13, Boholanos tuned in to the live Senate hearing of the testimony of Department of Agriculture (DA) Undersecretary Jocjoc Bolante.

In a radio program at DYRD, parents of/and students of Central Visayas State College of Agriculture Forestry and Technology- Tagbilaran City Campus (CVSCAFT-TCC), called to complain in regards to its’ policy of P30/day for late enrollment. They pointed out that this fine should just be disregarded and that they should just understand especially in this time of crisis.
Classes should have formally started last week, Nov. 3, but due to many reasons enrollment is still not finished. The reasons are the there are students who haven’t had their clearance signed, and students asking for grades thus mixing up with the enrollees. Other factors pointed out are the huge amount of students and the lack of management control of its students.

Sa pagpaneguro nga mapalig-on ang depensa sa nasud, P120 bilyones ang mabubo sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) samtang 168 bilyones ang adto mapadulong sa edukasyon.

Kini maoy gipasabot ni Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita, agi’g reaksyon sa mga demanda sa National Democratic Front (NDF) pinaagi ni Madrigal agi ug pasiunang kondisyones sa pagpabalik sa panagsabot sa kalinaw tali sa kagamhanan ug mga rebelde.
Gidemanda sa NDF ang pagpa-tangtang kang Kalihim Hermogenes Esperon isip nasudnong tigtambag sa kagamhanan ug ang pagpawala sa angga sa mga rebelde nga mga terorista.
