Nabalaka pag-ayo ang presidente, samtang gusto niyang mahibalo-an kon ngano nga gipalarga ang barko bisan kon adunay bagyo, dugang ni Dureza.
Mipatawag dayon ug tigum ang presidente sa mga sakop sa Kabinete nga mikuyog niya sa Estados Unidos aron masayran ang kabaguhan sa gihimong pagluwas sa mga biktima.
Gipangayu-an usab sa Presidente og tubag ang Coast Guard ug DOTC kabahin sa maong trahedya.
Bag-uhay pa lang gipang-kansela ni kalihim sa DOTC Leandro Mendoza ang biyahe sa mga barko sa Sulpicio Lines samtang gihimo pa ang imbestigasyon.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo visited the largest hospital in the central valley region of California to honor the Filipino doctors, nurses and other medical practitioners who are doing a good job here.
The President visited the Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in the agricultural city of Fresno where some 2,000 Filipino nurses and a growing number of doctors are gainfully employed.
She was practically mobbed as everyone wanted to pose for a souvenir photograph with her.
The visit to the hospital was one of the official schedules in her 10-day, three-state visit to the US that would take her to Washington and New York.
Acting Labor Secretary Marianito Roque, who was with the President in the hospital visit, revealed that for the past seven years, some 5,976 Filipino nurses were deployed to the US to fill up the 130,000 vacancies for nurses and physical therapists.
Filipino medical practitioners, especially nurses, are well-loved overseas as they are well-skilled, patient and do their job with loving care. (PIA/Bohol)

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo called on the Filipino community in the United States to extend assistance to the victims of typhoon Frank that hit the Philippines last Saturday.
”You have done so much. Every year, Filipino-Americans extend all forms of assistance for your old schools, hometowns, provinces and local organizations, from medical and dental missions, to educational and internet support, to humanitarian and charitable causes, Filipino-Americans are ever ready to help the land of your forefathers,” the President said.
She said that with the onslaught of typhoon Frank, the Filipinos back home are hoping that the Filipinos here will again extend their help to the less fortunate.
Some 600 Filipino-Americans witnessed the President’s conduct of a video conference with the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) where President Arroyo showed that despite her being out of the Philippines to foster diplomatic relations with its most important ally, she remains focused and on top of the situation back home.
Any assistance to the typhoon victims could be coursed through the embassies and consulates as the President has given out instructions for them to open disaster-relief donation accounts. (PIA/Bohol)
