CHATTO DISCUSSES CELEBOSOLE AT RDC VISAYAS – RDC Region 7 Chairman and BoholGovernor Edgar Chatto, expresses his support for a common vision and direction for sustainable development of the Visayan Islands through Agri-Tourism, Information Communications Technology, and Human Capital during the First Quarter Meeting of the Visayas Area Regional Development Committee in Tacloban City. The RDCom meeting, where guest speaker was Senate President Franklin Drilon, also discussed seamless interconnection through land, air and sea for trade, commerce, and tourism, including the Visayan Islands Cruise and the Cebu Leyte Bohol Southern Leyte (CeLeBoSoLe) Management Council for the protection of the, 272-square meter Danajon Bank which is located off northern Bohol and surrounded by the provinces of Cebu, Leyte and Southern Leyte, the only documented barrier reef in the Philippines and in the whole of Southeast Asia. Art Yap lead groundbreaking rites for the P150M concreting of Guindulman-Anda-Badiang Cogtong Road, one of tourism highway projects of the convergence program of DOT and DPWH.
