Code white alert set for December 24, 25, 31, January 1

The Code White Alert was raised by the Department of Health (DOH) in preparation for the coming Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Code White Alert is raised to all DOH Hospitals to ensure prompt emergency services to injured patients during Holiday Season. Victims are reported through a Nationwide-Registry Injuries.

To further improve coordination among agencies and health facilities involved in injury prevention, the DOH is introducing the Online National Electronic Injury Surveillance System – an internet-based system that allows health facilities to report fireworks injury cases.

The DOH strongly advises the public against the use of any fireworks/firecrackers this holiday season. (PIA)
