The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is working with the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) to help veterans file their claims for the benefits. This was confirmed during an interview with the media before the joint cabinet and National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) meeting yesterday.
Various social welfare accomplishments on the Katas ng VAT Para kay Lolo at Lola, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program and typhoon Frank rehabilitation were also discussed in the meeting. (PIA)
