TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Mar. 20 (PIA)–Dili pa gihapon mapatuman sa gobyerno ang kontrobersiyal nga Reproductive Health law human nagpagawas ang Korte Suprema kagahapon og “status quo ante” order nga molanat og 120 ka adlaw.
Matud pa ni SC Public Information Office chief Theodore Te, sa boto nga 10-5 sa mga mahistrado, nauyonan nga ipagawas ang maong kamanduan aron pugngan ang pagpatuman sa RH law o Republic Act 10354, nga gihimong balaod ni Presidente Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III niadtong Disyembre 2012.
“SC en banc issued a 120-day Status quo Ante order in the consolidated cases involving the RH law. Vote was 10-5,” matud pa ni Te.
Ang lima ka mahistrado nga mibabag aron pugngan ang pagpatuman sa RA 10354 mao sila Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, Associate Justices Antonio Carpio, Mariano del Castillo, Estela Perlas-Bernabe ug Marvic Leonen.
Gitakda ang oral arguments sa Hunyo 18, 2013, alas-2:00 sa hapon alang sa mga gitapo-tapo nga reklamo batok sa RH laws.
Samtang miingon ang Malakanyang nga mosunod sila sa kamanduan sa Korte Suprema.
Matud pa ni Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda, masaligon sila nga madepensaan sa gobyerno ang mga merito sa RH Law.
“We will observe the SQA resolution issued by the Supreme Court and we are confident that government will be able to defend the merits of the Responsible Parenthood Law,” matud pa ni Lacierda.
Sugdan unta ang implementasyon sa RH Law sa umaabot nga Marso 31 o Domingo sa Pagkabanhaw human nahipno ang Implementing Rules and Regulations niini. (PIA-Bohol/ecb/i-sjp)
