The Japanese Government through its JICA Resident Representative to the Philippines Hiromi Kitabayashi said that attaining sustainable peace and development is the key towards economic growth in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Kitabayashi stressed that Japan is supporting the peace process between the Philippine Government and Moro Islamic Liberation Front, so that they can help more and provide assistance for the economic development in the region.
The Japanese government has been committed to the Philippine Government for many years now and at present together with the ARMM Government, is conducting a study on infrastructure development in the region. (PIA/Bohol)
