Veterans are now receiving the benefits of the Veterans Law that the United States Senate has recently approved in honor of the Filipino soldiers who fought side by side with the US forces during the Second World War (WWII).
The so-called veterans equity is one of the fruits of the US visits of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who had been lobbying for the approval of the Veterans Bill by the US Congress. (PIA/JMDA)
