The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has expanded its facilities to serve thousands of vacationing overseas Filipino workers that will need their exit clearance.
However, POEA Administrator Hans Leo Cacdac said that the additional processing centers will not process exit clearance of household service workers, undocumented workers with no existing record at the POEA database, workers who have changed employers, workers bound for restricted/banned countries, workers who are in the watchlist and workers whose employers are watchlisted.
The POEA has set up counters at PAG-IBIG in Makati City and at the OWWA central office in Pasay City aside from the Balik-Manggagawa offices in Trinoma, Quezon City, Duty Free Paranaque and SM Manila.
The POEA has also adjusted office hours in their central office in Ortigas to accommodate those who will be coming early in the morning.
On December 26 and January 2, 3 and 6, Balik-Manggagawa counters will open at 6:00 A.M. Counters will also open on January 4 (Saturday) from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon.
To spare themselves from the long lines at the POEA offices, Cacdac is reminding returning OFWs to make use of the Balik-Manggagawa online appointment system available at bmappointment.poea.gov.ph.
OFWs may also get their exit clearance or OEC at the POEA regional offices while they are in their respective provinces.
The documentary requirements for those using the appointment system and walk-in processing are the same: Passport valid for 6 months from time of departure, valid working visa/work permit and proof of employment such as certificate of employment, company ID, pay slip, and other equivalent document. Nanawagan ang PCG sa tanang mo-biyahe o mosakay og barko nga sundon gayud ang mga gipatuman nga gi-dili karong Pasko ug sa nagsingabot nga Bag-ong Tuig.
Matud pa ni Coast Guard Spokesperson Commander Armand Balilo nga gawas sa mga hait nga hinagiban, ilegal nga droga ug mga pusil nga walay papeles, bawal usab ang pagdala og paboto sa mga pasahero sa barko.
Alang sa mga negosyanteng magbiyahe og paboto, kinahanglang may dala silang kumpleto nga dokumento sa kargamento ug ipadala kini sa cargo vessel lamang ug dili mahimong i-uban sa mga passenger vessel.

Ang POEA nagbutang ug mga counters sa buhatan sa PAG-IBIG sa syudad sa Makati ug sa OWWA Central Office sa syudad sa Pasay, gawas pa sa Balik-Manggagawa offices sa Trinoma sa syudad sa Quezon, Duty Free Paranaque ug sa SM Manila.
Gi-adjust usab sa POEA ang ilang office hours sa ilang Central Office sa Ortigas aron ma-maalagaran kadtong sayo sa buntag moadto sa ilang buhatan.

MANILA, Dec. 20 (PIA)–Gilagdaan na ni Presidente Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III karong adlawa ang P2.265-trilyon national budget alang sa sunod tuig.
Mas ubos ang gilagdaang pondo sa Presidente kun itandi sa iyang giduso nga P2.268 trilyon.
Gitangtang na sa 2014 budget ang kontrobersyal nga Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) sa mga magbabalaod, human sa giingong mga maanomaliyang paggamit niini.
Ni-gamay ang maong pondo human ipatangtang sa 15 ka senador ang ilang PDAF nga nagkantidad og P200 milyon, apil na usab ang social fund ni Bise-Presidente Jejomar Binay nga P200 milyon.
