Kini human niabot sa Kalihim nga may pipila ka personalidad nga nagsuroy-suroy gamit ang pangalan sa DOTr aron mangayo og tabang alang sa mga nabiktima sa pagboto sa Roxas Night Market sa syudad sa Davao niadtong Setyembre 2.
Gi-klaro ni DOTr Kalihim Arthur Tugade nga wala bisan kanus-a sila nihimo og ingon adtong matang nga lakang aron lamang itabang sa mga biktima.

Kumon Philippines, Inc. (KPI) held its Advanced Student Forum (ASF) on September 24, 2016 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City. The ASF is an annual event where KPI recognizes the Math and Reading program completers for the past year. It also recognizes Kumon students who are advanced by at least five grade levels.
Kumon K of C students who completed Math or Reading programs were recognized during the event. Chief Instructor Dr. Elva E. Auza congratulated her students and said, “I’m very happy that Kumon K of C is gaining grounds in helping kids achieve their dreams. We only had one completer in 2015 but this year, we have nine students. Some of them are also recognized as top ten in their grade level nationwide.”
The Math program completers from Kumon K of C are as follows: Theresa Michelle Biliran, Jon Lexis Biliran (top ten), Jesse Biliran (top ten), Bernard Hans Kurt Mortil (top ten), Eunice Chua (top ten), and Andrei Madrangca. The Reading program completers are: Jeremiah Auza Reading Completer (top ten), Peter Paul Jabines (top ten) and Jeorgeiann Suaffield (top ten). Jeremiah Auza was also recognized for being 5 years advanced in Math (top ten).
This year’s ASF had the theme “The Legacy Lives On” in celebration of KPI’s 20th year in the Philippines. The ASF in Cebu City is attended by the awardees coming from the Visayas area. There are other ASF events throughout the country every year.

Gipangunahan sa Department of Energy (DOE) kauban sa Philippine Information Agency (PIA), ang maong kalihokan nahisubay sa kampanya sa pag-promote sa wais ug episyenteng paggamit sa elekrisidad sa panimalay, komersiyal ug sektor sa industriyal.
Gitambongan ang maong Power Patrol Seminar on Energy Efficiency and Conservation for Households sa mga miyembro sa Association of United Development Information Officers in Bohol (AUDIO-Bohol), mga pangulo sa Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) sa lalawigan sa Bohol, mga barangay kapitan sa syudad sa Tagbilaran, mga piniling school supervisors ug mga tinun-an sa Grade 9 ug Grade 10 sa Department of Education (DepEd) Bohol Division ug Tagbilaran City Division.
Si Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnell Yap II sa iyang welcome message nitumbok sa kamahinungdanon sa aktibong pagsalmot sa pagpa-usbaw sa kahibalo sa konsumidor ug magbinantayon sa pagpanalipod sa katungod sa mga konsumidor.
Si Marc Venson sa DOE Energy Efficiency and Conservation Division (EECD) ang nipasabot kalabot sa Magna Carta for Residential Electricity Consumers ug nihatag sa overview sa National Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program (NEECP) nga nagdetalye sa mga programa ug polisiya sa DOE kalabot sa pag-promote sa energy efficiency.
Samtang si Engr. Eulogio Signe, General Manager sa Bohol Light Company Inc. (BLCI) ang nipasabot kalabot sa “Understanding the Electric Bill” ug “How to Read the Electric Meter”.
Ang maong seminar gitambongan usab nila DOE-Visayas Field Office Director Antonio Labios, DOE OIC-Assistant Director Jesus Anunciacion ug PIA-7 Regional Director Minerva Newman.

For almost a decade now, Auza.Net has been publishing updates on technology relevant to Boholanos and the province. In the past year, we have seen significant efforts by the private and government sectors to encourage startups and entrepreneurship. This Technology Updates page covered many of the events such as Startup Weekends, Geeks on a Beach and various activities related to information and communication technology. There is a need though to highlight and encourage entrepreneurship in Bohol.
And for this reason, Auza.Net will start to highlight news relevant to entrepreneurship in Bohol. There has been many programs by various government agencies such as DTI, DOST and the provincial government to support entrepreneurship. Specific focus is on micro, small and medium enterprises that employ a significant amount of the workforce.
If you are a government agency, NGO or an entrepreneur yourself and you have news or press releases, you may send these to info@auza.net for publication. We will accommodate articles on a first come, first served basis. In this issue for example, we published the press release from DTI about the Trans-Pacific Partnership or TPP. The event has impact on MSME’s and by publishing this article, we hope to help spread the information to the general public.
This year and the next few years will be exciting to the startup community and entrepreneurs in Bohol because significant development in infrastructure are being implemented or lined up for implementation in Bohol. For example, the new airport in Panglao will definitely bring more opportunities in tourism. On top of that, there are plans drawn up to develop a tourism estate in Panglao. And just recently, major infrastructure projects for Bohol have been approved by the national government.

TAGBILARAN CITY, September 14 (PIA)–Gitinguha ang pagdili na sa hingpit sa tanang dapit sa Visayas sa paggamit sa mga liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)-refilled butane canister.
Matud pa ni Department of Energy (DOE) Visayas Director Antonio Labios, hingpit gyud nga gidili ang paggamit sa LPG-refilled butane canister tungod kay naghatag kini og kakuyaw sa sunog gumikan kay dili na man masubay ang standard nga gikinahanglan alang sa luwas nga paggamit niini.
Si Labios nitumbok sa kabalaka sa kaluwasan kalabot sa baratong kantidad sa pagpa-refill sa LPG canister taliwala sa pagdagsang sa mga ilegal o backyard refilling sa LPG o butane canisters.
Ang pagpa-refill sa butane canisters nagkantidad lamang gikan P8.50 ngadto sa P12.00 kun itandi sa pagpalit og LPG nga nagkantidad og kapin P200 alang sa 2.5 kilograms ngadto sa P600 alang sa 11 kilograms.
Gibutyag ni Labios nga nidagsang ang LPG-refilled canisters sa Mindanao ug Cebu ug nagsugod na karon og tubo sa Negros Oriental ug Leyte.
Ang DOE-Visayas nakatala na og tulo ka pagbuto tungod sa paggamit sa LPG-refilled butane canisters sa Cebu apan wala hinuo’y natala nga na-angol sa maong pagbuto.
Gipalig-on na karon sa DOE-Visayas ang pag-monitor sa mga ilegal o backyard refilling sa LPG sa tibuok rehiyon apan matud pa ni Labios nga limitado lamang ang ilang aksiyon tungod sa kakulang sa manpower diin may 6 lamang ka inspectors alang sa tibuok rehiyon.
Ubos sa Presidential Decree 1865, ilegal ang pagnegosyo, pagbaligya, pag-distribute o paghakot sa LPG-refilled canisters ug kadtong mapamatud-ang molapas niini pahamtangan og duha hangtud sa lima ka tuig nga pagkabilanggo ug multa nga nagkantidad og P20,000 taman P50,000. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)
