Bisan pa niini, giseguro ni Abad nga hugot ang himuon nilang pag-release sa pondo sa tinguhang dili kini maadto sa kurapsyon.
Samtang padayon ang imbestigasyon sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) kalabot sa pag-peke sa SARO alang sa farm to market roads nga nagkantidad og P879 milyon.
Apil sa gi-imbestigahan sa NBI ang pagkalambigit sa driver ug janitor sa DBM, pipila ka empleyado ug staff mismo sa mga congressman.

MANILA, Jan. 03 (PIA)–Epektibo na sugod Enero 1, 2014 ang dugang nga binuwang kontribusyon sa mga miyembro sa Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) ug Social Security System (SSS).
Ang nangamuhang myembro sa PhilHealth nga kaniadto adunay binuwang kontribusyon nga P175, magbayad na karon og P200. Tungaon sa employer ug empleyado ang maong kontribusyon.
Magbayad na usab karon og kontribusyong P200 ang mga Self-employed PhilHealth members o individually paying members (IPMs) nga kaniadto nagbayad lamang og P150 matag buwan.
Una nang gipahayag sa PhilHealth niadtong Oktubre 2013 nga ang mga IPM nga adunay binuwang kita nga P25,000 paubos magbayad og bag-ong premium annual rate nga P2,400.
Gawas sa mga self-employed ug voluntary member, apil usab sa mga IPM ang mga naa ubos sa Kalusugang Sigurado at Abot-Kaya sa PhilHealth Insurance program ug group enrollment scheme.
Adunay 3 ka scheme sa pagbayad ang pagapilian sa mga IPM: P600 per quarter, P1,200 semi-annually o P2,400 per annum.
Samtang sa abiso usab sa SSS, madugangan og 0.3 porsyento ang kontribusyon matag buwan sa mga empleyadong miyembro sa SSS ug 0.6 porsyento ang gisaka nga kontribusyon sa mga self-employed ug nagtrabaho sa ubang nasud, apil na usab sa mga boluntaryong naghulog og kontribusyon.

Malacañang said Thursday it will consider as a learning point and a continuing challenge the Philippines’ drop in ranking in the Forbes’ Best Countries for Business for 2013.
Presidential Communications Operations Office head Herminio Coloma Jr. said there is room for improvement for the Philippines to fare much better on the list.
“We acknowledge there would be room for improvement in all those aspects … Para sa atin, tinuturing natin na isang continuing challenge para mas mapahusay ang ating mga business processes (We acknowledge there is room for improvement in all those aspects. We view as a continuing challenge the need to improve our business processes),” Coloma said.
The Philippines had ranked 90th out of 145 countries in the Forbes’ Best Countries for Business List for 2013, slightly lower than in 2012. This was three notches below the country’s rank last year.
On the other hand, Coloma said the Philippines will not be content at being 90th or 87th, but will seek to move as close as possible to the top of the list.
In the meantime, he said the Philippines will consider its dip in the ranking a “learning point and an opportunity for introducing further improvements.”
But he said this would require the efforts not only of the government but also of the private sector. (PND)

President Benigno Aquino III has signed the P14.6-billion supplemental budget for 2014 to fund
relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in areas affected last year by super Typhoon
Yolanda (Haiyan) and a magnitude-7.2 quake.
In a media briefing, Presidential Communications Operations Office head Herminio Coloma Jr.
said the President signed the budget last Dec. 26.
“On Dec. 26, it was signed…..Pinirmahan na ang joint resolution ng both houses of Congress
for the supplemental allocation of P14.6 billion (It was signed Dec. 26. This was the joint
resolution by both houses of Congress for the allocation of P14.6 billion),” Coloma said.
Yolanda, which tore through Visayas and Southern Luzon last November, left more than 6,100
dead.
The supplemental budget will also help survivors of other devastating cyclones. It will fund the
P40.9-billion rehabilitation plan President Aquino had approved.
Coloma said the rehabilitation plan had gone through several revisions and “various stages
