Matud pa ni Brillantes, mo-agi sa hingpit nga proseso ang pagtumbok sa mga tinuod nga mamamahayag tungod kay posibleng adunay mopahimos sa maong proseso.
Bisan pa niini, itakda pa ang paghipno sa implementing rules and regulations (IRR) kalabot sa early voting sa mga media aron mahimong sumbanan sa media entity, broadcast, print ug bisan sa mga online media.

Voter’s registration status, mahimo nang susihon sa internet
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Oct. 11 (PIA)–Mahimo nang susihon pinaagi sa Internet ang registration status sa usa ka botante.
Sa opisyal nga Twitter account ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes, gipa-ambit niini ang site nga http://www.comelec.gov.ph/?r=precinct_finder diin mahibaw-an dayon ang polling center, precinct number ug uban pang impormasyon kalabot sa voter’s registration.
Gipahinumdom usab ni Brillantes nga deactivated na ang voter’s registration sa mga botanteng wala nakabotar og duha ka sunod-sunod nga eleksyon.
Kini nagpasabot nga kinahanglang i-reactivate sa mga wala nakabotar niadtong Mayo 10, 2010 ug Oktubre 25, 2010 elections ang ilang status aron makabotar sa 2013.
Gibalik usab og pahinumdom sa Comelec nga hangtud Oktubre 31 lang ang voter’s registration ug dili na kini lugwayan pa.
“There will be NO EXTENSION after October 31, 2012 as we already need to finalize the number of ballots to be printed, among others. Oct. 31, 2012 is also the deadline for transfer of registration, validation of registration & reactivation of deactivated registration.”
Tambag ni Brillantes sa mga kwalipikadong botante nga dili na paabuton pa ang katapusang adlaw sa registration.

“Pinaigting pa natin ang pagbabantay sa presyo ng mga bilihin.Dahil din sa pakikipagtulungan ng DTI saiba’t ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan tulad ngDOH, DOE, at ng DA, regular nating naisasapubliko at nailalathala sa internet ang ating lingguhang price monitoring. Kaugnay nito, masusi rin nating ini-inspeksyon ang mga timbangan ng mga nagbebenta sa palengke upang masigurong sakto ang bigat ng binibiling produkto. Matud pa ni Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda, gilagdaan sa Presidente ang Proclamation No. 488 nga nagdeklarar nga regular holiday sa tibuok nasud sa Oktubre 26 agig pagsaulog sa Eid’l Adha o Feast of Sacrifice sa mga igsoon natong Muslim.
Ang Eid’l Adha usa sa pinakamahinungdanong kasaulogan sa mga Islam sa tibuok kalibotan mao nga gi-rekomendar kini sa National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) kang Presidente Aquino nga ideklarar nga regular holiday isip pakighiusa sa katawhang Pilipino sa Muslim community sa pagsaulog sa Eid’l Adha.
Nagpasabot kini nga duha ka sunod-sunod nga long weekend ang gipaabot sa katawhan. Kini tungod kay special non-working days man usab ang Nobyembre 1, Huwebes (All Saints Day ) ug Nobyembre 2, Biyernes ( All Souls Day) base sa Proclamation No. 295 nga gilagdaan na daan sa Presidente niadto pang Nobyembre 24, 2011. PRESIDENT Benigno S. Aquino III has declared November 11 to 17, 2012 as “Electrical Engineering Week” to underscore the need to focus national attention on the importance of the electrical engineering profession.
The Chief Executive issued the declaration by virtue of Proclamation No. 419 signed by Executive Secretary Paquito N. Ochoa Jr. on July 4.
The proclamation aims to highlight the role of the electrical engineering profession in nation-building.
The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE), will hold its 37th Annual National Convention on November 14-17, 2012 at the SMX Convention Center, Seashell Lane, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
The theme for this year’s gathering of electrical engineers is “Engineering a Safe and Better Nation Through Excellence in Electrical Profession.”
The IIEE is the organization of electrical practitioners and the only accredited professional organization (APO) of electrical practitioners by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). Founded in 1975, the organization now has 23,000 members. (PCOO)

PRESIDENT Benigno S. Aquino III has declared October 26, which falls on Friday, as a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eidul Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).
The President issued Proclamation No. 488 on October 9, 2012 based on Republic Act. No. 9849. The said republic act provides “that Eidul Adha shall be celebrated as a regular holiday.”
“Eidul Adha is one of the two greatest feasts of Islam. The date of the festival is based on the declaration made by Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body,” the President said in the proclamation.
The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) recommended that the observance of Eidul Adha be on Oct. 26 and the Eidul Adha prayer be performed on the final declaration of the Saudi Government.
Eidul Adha is observed after the Hajj — the annual pilgrimage to Makkah (Mecca) in Saudi Arabia.
A duty of each Muslim, as described in the Five Pillars of Islam, is to go on a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once during their lifetime, unless they are prevented by finances or ill health.
It is the second of the two major Muslim holy days. The other is Eid-ul-Fitr which follows Ramadan– a lunar month of partial fasting. (PCOO)
