MANILA, Feb. 26 (PIA)–Gihimakak sa Department of Health (DOH) ang mga balita nga adunay nikatap nga “flesh-eating” skin disease sa Pangasinan.
Matud pa ni Health Secretary Enrique Ona nga walay rason aron mag-panic tungod kay dili tinuod ang maong balita.
“There is no reported case of ‘flesh-eating’ skin disease in the country yet. Absolutely no reason for the public to panic,” matud pa ni Ona.
Gitumbok ni Ona ang duha ka kaso sa mga biktimang adunay sakit sa panit nga nasaypang flesh-eating disease.
Gitataw sa DOH nga ang hinungdan sa multi-drug therapy mao ang sangla nga nakuha sa 21-anyos nga babae sa Sta. Barbara, Pangasinan.
Matud pa nga natambalan na ang maong biktima ug kasamtangan na kining nagpaayo..

LOON, Bohol, Feb. 25 (PIA)–As part of the 28th anniversary celebration of the EDSA People Power Revolution, President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III on Monday afternoon visited Bohol again which was hit by the 7.2-magnitude earthquake last October 15, 2013.
President Aquino upon arrival here proceeded to Cogon Norte in Loon to inspect the construction of bunkhouses and service facilities for the residents affected by the earthquake.
The President arrived with Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Sec. Herminio Coloma, Jr., Dept. of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Mar Roxas, Dept. of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Rogelio Singson, Department of National Defense (DND) Sec. Voltaire Gazmin and Dept. of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sec. Dinky Soliman.
The President was welcomed by local officials headed by Gov. Edgar Chatto, 1st Dist. Rep. Rene Relampagos and Loon Mayor Lloyd Peter Lopez.
DPWH Regional Director Ador Canlas then took the President in a walking briefing of the emergency shelter bunkhouses.
The 10 bunkhouses with ten units each for 100 shelter beneficiaries of Loon has 5 communal service facilities provided for the occupants.
Service facilities include 8 restrooms, 4 shower rooms, 4 washing sink, 20 grill stove facilities and it has running water.
Of the 10 bunkhouses, 8 are partially finished while 2 are now being occupied.
Started January of this year, it is now near completion. There is also an ongoing construction of bunkhouses in Ubujan, Tubigon.
Part of the P20M fund is provided by the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) to DPWH, which implemented the project.
After the inspection of the bunkhouses and service facilities, the President toured the retrofitted Congressman Natalio P. Castillo, Sr. Memorial Hospital in Barangay Basac, Loon and checked some parts of the hospital damaged by the earthquake.
The President then attended the 28th anniversary celebration of the EDSA People Power Revolution beside the hospital where stories of heroism and kindness of ordinary Filipinos and resilience in the wake of calamities were highlighted.
President Aquino’s visit here is part of the celebration of the EDSA People Power anniversary. Aside from Bohol, the President also went to Cateel, Davao Oriental. He is also scheduled to visit Cebu, Leyte and Samar. (PIA7-Bohol/ECB)

Lunes sa hapon sa dihang niabot si PNoy gikan sa Cateel, Davao Oriental sa Cogon Norte sa Loon, Bohol diin iyang gi-inspeksyon ang mga bunkhouses alang sa mga nawad-an og puy-anan tungod sa magnitude 7.2 nga linog niadtong Oktubre 15, 2013.
Si PNoy gi-ubanan sa iyang mga kabinete nga sila si PCOO Sec. Sonny Coloma, DILG Sec. Mar Roxas, DPWH Sec. Rogelio Singson, DSWD Sec. Dinky Soliman ug DND Sec. Voltaire Gazmin.
Gisusi ni PNoy ang 10 ka bunkhouses nga aduna usab 10 ka units sa matag bunkhlouse alang sa 100 ka mga banay.
May 5 kini ka communal service facilities nga gi-andam alang sa mga mopuyo niini. Ang matag communal service facility adunay 8 ka pansayan, 4 ka kaliguanan, 4 ka hugasanan ug 20 ka lung-agan.
Ang duha ka bunkhouses na kumpleto na og gipuy-an na karon, samtang ang 8 gipadayon pa sa pagtukod ug hapit na mahuman.
Si DPWH Regional Director Ador Canlas ang nihatag kang PNoy og briefing kabahin sa proyekto nga gitumong aron kabalhinan sa mga biktima sa linog kang kinsang mga balay nangaguba.
Gipunduhan kini pinaagi sa P20 milyones nga donasyon sa Philippine Port Authority (PPA) alang sa mga biktima sa linog sa Bohol.
Gisugdan niadtong Enero ning tuig, ang proyekto apil sa 20 ka mga emergency bunkhouses nga gipundohan sa P20 milyones sa PPA, diin ang laing 10 ka bunkhouses tua ipahimutang sa Tubigon.
Kasamtangang naa na sa kapin sa 80% ang proyekto nga gipatuman, samtang anaa pa sa 40% ang pagpatuman sa proyekto sa Tubigon.
Human sa pagsusi sa mga bunkhouses, si PNoy mi-deretso ngadto sa Cong. Natalio Castillo Memorial Hospital sa Loon diin iya usab gisusi ang mga nahimo sa kagamhanan sa naguba nga tambalanan.
