DepEd, nipasalig nga magpadayon ang SHS voucher alang sa Grade 11 sa 2017

TAGBILARAN CITY, November 9 (PIA)–Ang Department of Education (DepEd) nipasalig nga ang Senior High School (SHS) Voucher Program magpabiling mohatag og tabang pinansiyal sa mga kwalipikadong nakatapos sa Grade 10 nga gustong mo-enroll sa non-DepEd SHS taliwala sa taho nga ang maong voucher program dili na modawat sa school year 2017-2018. Agi og pagsubay sa pasalig sa paghatag og dekalidad nga edukasyon alang sa tanan, ang DepEd nipagawas niadtong Oktubre 28, 2016 sa Department Order No. 66, series of 2016 (DO 66, s. 2016) nga nagtinguha sa paghatag og klaro ug detalyadong sumbanan sa implementing processes kalabot sa application for vouchers gikan sa prequalification ngadto na sa katubsanan. Bohol’s Ani ng Sining shows BACH Code, arts workshops

REAPING now from crafting enabling laws on doing culture and heritage preservation here, Bohol gathers at the Acacia Garden at the Capitol this month to celebrate the National Arts Month themed “Ani ng Sining 2009”. With capitol leading, Governor Erico Aumentado is delivering a special message for the occasion, one that may elaborate his stand on the role of art and culture in development. Loay vows grander celebration of Blood Compact’s 444th year

THE EVENT conceptualization and and management group of Loay’s “panag Higala-ay” has prepared a grander commemoration of the historic Blood Compact’s 444th year on March 25. The 2008 celebration, under the “Treaty that started Friendship” concept of the Event Management and the Organizing group, paved the way for Loay’s partnership with the Department of Tourism, through Secretary Ace Durano in endorsing the “panag Higala-ay” as one of the newest celebration and latest tourism activity in Bohol together with. The “panag Higala-ay” 2008 celebration involved 5,000 people eating together on a line of 150 tables connected together through the sponsorship of Coca Cola – an attempt for a Guiness World record. City SP “denied” of discretionary funds

The Office of the City Accountant (OCA) refused to process the discretionary funds of the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) members. Thus resulting to a tension between City hall’s executive and legislative arms. City Accountant Kurt Adolph Bungabong told the SP that his office could not process the financial aids of the vice mayor and councilors to the barangays since they failed to submit liquidation papers for the previous aids. The same could happen to the assistance intended for non-government organizations (NGOs) and people’s organizations (Pos). A city council insider asked why should they be faulted for others’ lapses, referring to the non-liquidation by the barangays, NGOs or POs of the previous financial aids given to them. Due to P1.9M debt Hospital suspends Blue Card program

Due to the P 1.9 M unpaid medical expenses under Tagbilaran’s Blue Card free hospitalization program, the Gov. Celestino Gallares Regional Hospital is suspending admittances charged against the city government. The government hospital confirmed in a check that the outstanding obligations of the city remain unpaid prompting its management to stop allowing patients to charge hospital billings against the Blue Card. Since the hospital fees ballooned to over P2.146 million in June 2008, the city government only paid once despite several demands for payment. Some city lawmakers were shocked to learn of the unpaid debt since the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) approved a P4 million allocation for the Blue Card last year. Until the city government pays its debt, the hospital will refuse admittances under the hospitalization program of the city. Lakas-Kampi gears for 2010

Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats and the Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino (Kampi) will caution any split in the 2010 elections as it moves to further seal its merging which was “experimented” during the last local elections. Lakas provincial chairman Gov. Erico Aumentado said the party will be strongest this time in preparing for next year’s elections after Pres. Arroyo and former Pres. Ramos met the both parties to seal their merge. Gov. Aumentado retains his silence on whom to anoint as the official administration bets for the provincial and congressional slots.
