MANILA, Feb. 26 (PIA)–Nipahinumdom ang Department of Eductaion (DepEd) nga himuong yano lamang ang mga himuong seremonya sa graduation sa sunod nga bulan.
Pinaagi sa DepEd Order No. 9 s. 2014, gipahibalo ni Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro ang tema sa pagtapos karong tuig nga: “Hindi Natitinag ang Pusong Pilipino.”
Matud pa sa kalihim, bisan ang usa ka graduation nangahulogan og kalampusan, giingong dili angay ipakita sa mga engrandeng suot ug venue ang leksyon nga angay itudlo sa mga estudyanteng motapos.
Matud pa nga mas mahinungdanon ang mensahe nga pagka-makanasudnon, kamaayo ug kalig-on.
Base sa school calendar SY 2013-2014, kinahanglang himuon ang graduation sa ika-27 ug ika-28 sa Marso ning tuig.

LOON, Bohol, Feb. 25 (PIA)–Gibisita og balik ni Presidente Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III ang mga naapektuhan sa niaging kalamidad sa wala pa isaulog ang ika-28 anibersaryo sa EDSA People Power Revolution.
Lunes sa hapon sa dihang niabot si PNoy gikan sa Cateel, Davao Oriental sa Cogon Norte sa Loon, Bohol diin iyang gi-inspeksyon ang mga bunkhouses alang sa mga nawad-an og puy-anan tungod sa magnitude 7.2 nga linog niadtong Oktubre 15, 2013.
Si PNoy gi-ubanan sa iyang mga kabinete nga sila si PCOO Sec. Sonny Coloma, DILG Sec. Mar Roxas, DPWH Sec. Rogelio Singson, DSWD Sec. Dinky Soliman ug DND Sec. Voltaire Gazmin.
Gisusi ni PNoy ang 10 ka bunkhouses nga aduna usab 10 ka units sa matag bunkhlouse alang sa 100 ka mga banay.
May 5 kini ka communal service facilities nga gi-andam alang sa mga mopuyo niini. Ang matag communal service facility adunay 8 ka pansayan, 4 ka kaliguanan, 4 ka hugasanan ug 20 ka lung-agan.
Ang duha ka bunkhouses na kumpleto na og gipuy-an na karon, samtang ang 8 gipadayon pa sa pagtukod ug hapit na mahuman.
Si DPWH Regional Director Ador Canlas ang nihatag kang PNoy og briefing kabahin sa proyekto nga gitumong aron kabalhinan sa mga biktima sa linog kang kinsang mga balay nangaguba.
Gipunduhan kini pinaagi sa P20 milyones nga donasyon sa Philippine Port Authority (PPA) alang sa mga biktima sa linog sa Bohol.
Gisugdan niadtong Enero ning tuig, ang proyekto apil sa 20 ka mga emergency bunkhouses nga gipundohan sa P20 milyones sa PPA, diin ang laing 10 ka bunkhouses tua ipahimutang sa Tubigon.
Kasamtangang naa na sa kapin sa 80% ang proyekto nga gipatuman, samtang anaa pa sa 40% ang pagpatuman sa proyekto sa Tubigon.
Human sa pagsusi sa mga bunkhouses, si PNoy mi-deretso ngadto sa Cong. Natalio Castillo Memorial Hospital sa Loon diin iya usab gisusi ang mga nahimo sa kagamhanan sa naguba nga tambalanan.

MANILA, Feb. 21 (PIA)–Himuong parte ang mga apektado sa mga niaging kalamidad sa pagsaulog sa ika-28 nga anibersaryo sa EDSA People Power Revolution.
Matud pa ni Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda, gusto ni Presidente Aquino nga mahimong parte sila sa usa sa pinaka-mahinungdanong pagsaulog sa kasaysayan sa Pilipinas pinaagi sa pagbisita sa progreso sa gipatumang halapad nga rehabilitasyon sa gobyerno.
Giingong apil sa bisitahon sa pagsaulog sa EDSA People Power Revolution sa sunod semana ang Cateel, Davao Oriental alang sa rehabilitasyon sa bagyong Pablo, Eastern Samar tungod sa bagyong Yolanda ug ang linog sa Bohol.
Sa unang higayon, isaulog sa Cebu ang usa sa pinakamahinungdanong parte sa selebrasyon sa EDSA: ang ‘Salubungan’.
Nahimo naman gud nga makasaysayan ang Mt. Carmel sa Cebu diin kasamtangang nagpabilin kaniadto si kanhi Presidente Corazon Aquino.
“EDSA celebration has always been symbolic. You remember the solidarity of the Filipino people that February in 1986, and I was also there in ’86, so I fully agree that – I fully support the decision of the President to spend his EDSA celebration in the midst of the people afflicted to show that he is one and will always be one with the people – those who suffered during the two calamities.”

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Feb. 12 (PIA)–The Provincial Government of Bohol lead the activities in the observance of Provincial Day of Peace yesterday held at Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Park in Tagbilaran City.
The activity was intended to revive the peace in the province anchored on the Boholano values of fear in God and abiding by laws as articulated by the late Boholano former President Carlos P. Garcia.
Also commemorated yesterday was the declaration of the province as insurgency-free by the Philippine National Police (PNP) way back 2010.
A motorcade was participated by the offices of the Provincial Capitol at 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
A program followed wherein the provincial officials led by Gov. Edgar Chatto, Vice-Gov. Concepcion Lim and 1st District Rep. Rene Relampagos unveiled the Peace Monument and officially declared every February 11 as a Provincial Day of Peace.
Other guests include Sec. Teresita Quintos-Deles of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP), newly appointed Director of the National Bureau of Investigation Boholano Atty. Virgilio Mendez, Commission on Human Rights Chairperson Loretta Ann Rosales, Boholano and staunch peace advocate Dr. Jose Abueva, Gen. Emmanuel Bautista of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, AFP Deputy Chief of Staff Lt. Allan Luga, and PNP Regional Director PSSupt. Dennis Agustin.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol recently passed Resolution No. 2014-055 declaring February 11, 2014 as Provincial Peace Day in the Province in Bohol.
The basis for such declaration is the attainment of the province’s well-defined ultimate direction anchored on a prime eco-cultural tourism destination and a strong balanced agro-industrial province with a well-educated, God-loving and law-abiding citizenry; proud of their cultural heritage; enjoying a state of well-being; and committed to sound environmental management.
The activity also formally launched the advocacy for a NonKilling Boholano Society, the country’s first provincial organization in our national movement for a Nonkilling Philippines.
The province of Bohol is leading the nation in its commitment to peace and nonkilling and is consistent with its official national recognition as “The Best Governed Province” in the Philippines, under Gov. Chatto. (PIA7-Bohol/ECB)

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, Feb. 12 (PIA)–Civil registration is a continuous, permanent and compulsory recording of vital events occurring in the life of an individual such as birth, marriage and death, as well as court decrees and legal instruments affecting the civil status of an individual.
The offices that are mainly concerned of these processes are the National Statistics Office (now Philippine Statistics Authority) and the Local Civil Registry Offices of the whole country, as provided for in Act No. 3753 which is the Civil Registry Law of the Philippines.
To promote advocacy on timely registration, every February is celebrated as Civil Registration month. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Ikaw at Ako Tungo sa Wastong Pagrerehistro”.
This month, the offices are occupied with several activities related to civil registration. These include the conduct of information dissemination and symposia on Civil Registry Matters in different educational institutions, Mobile Registrations in different barangays/municipalities, radio interviews, hanging of streamers, free issuance of certifications and motorcade in partnership with the Local Government Units (LGUs) province-wide.
Simultaneously, NSO is informing the public that by virtue of Republic Act 10625 (Philippine Statistical Act of 2013) which took effect last December 29, 2013, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) was created by merging the major statistical agencies of the government, comprised by NSO, National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), Bureau of Labor and Employment Statistics (BLES) and Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS).
RA 10625 also provides for the creation of the Philippine Statistical Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) to replace the Statistical Research and Training Center (SRTC). Last January 9, 2014, Hon. Carmelita N. Ericta was designated as the OIC National Statistician of PSA and the OIC Executive Director of PSRTI. Nanawagan ang UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) sa mga donors nga pun-an pa ang $19 milyon o gibana-banang P885 milyon gikan sa $33.8 milyong revised Bohol action plan aron mahatag ang mga panginahanglan hangtud sa Abril alang sa mga apektadong mga lugar.
Nakahatag na ang international community og donasyon nga mikabat sa $15.1 milyon alang sa nahiunang UN recovery programs sa mga naapektuhan sa maong linog.
Giingong prayoridad karon sa UN nga mahatagan og panimalay ang mga nawad-an og puy-anan ug ibutang sa mas luwas nga lugar tungod sa linog nga nitay-og sa lalawigan sa niaging tuig ug gisundan pa gyud sa super typhoon Yolanda niadtong Nobyembre 8.
